William is a pioneer and early adopter of many now-mandatory environmental standards, his visionary approach and inspiring leadership is exemplary. He established Green Element in 2004, a successful environmental management consultancy, with a desire to help as many businesses as possible go ‘green’.

In 2018, Will and Emma Littlewood created Compare Your Footprint in response to demand from companies that want to reduce their carbon footprint but were not ready to engage with experts.

Liberty is a brand strategy and marketing communications specialist driven to work with organisations that help to make a positive impact on our environment and society.

After many years working within the private equity industry she set up Shell Like Marketing consultancy to offer her skills to the environmental sector. 

Sarah Pearl

Sustainability Consultant


Sarah is certified as an IEMA practitioner, she is an expert in waste and recycling. Following graduation, from Leeds University with a BSc geography degree, Sarah worked for the Forest Service in Montana in their hydrology team. On her return to the UK, Sarah accepted the role of Minerals and Waste Consultant for The Mineral Planning Group. Following this, she became a Sustainability Executive for Paper Round (a leading waste and recycling company).

Sarah has a broad range of environmental experiences and is well placed to provide valuable advice to businesses on reducing their environmental impacts.

Alex Cronin

Environmental Management Consultant


After studying Environmental Management and International Business at Macquarie University in Australia, Alex has had experience across a number of industries including a commercial projects role with a large standards and certification organisation.

At Green Element, he focuses on implementing practices within organisations that will allow them to contribute to a sustainable and zero-emission economy. His expertise includes development of certified environmental management systems, internal auditing and quantifying environmental impact through GHG accounting.

Charlie Whyman

Charlie is a B2B Business Development Consultant, LinkedIn Trainer and creator of The Curious Marketing Club. She has a very varied and diverse background and grateful to have had the opportunity to work in so many different industries and sectors.

Charlie believes that this, combined with the fact that she has also gained a lot of experience in different areas of business, help her see things a little differently and add value in ways that other ‘sales and marketing people’ might not. Charlie has worked with Green Element and helped with the launch of Compare Your Footprint at the Web Summit

Jon Cornwell

Starting his career as a management consultant and then co-founder of a customer analytics business, Jon Cornwell has always had appetite for a challenge. Thus Jon co-founded Newsflare alongside Bevan Thomas in April 2011. Throughout his career Jon has focussed on building great teams with diverse skillsets as well as using data to drive business decisions. 

Craig Pask

With over 20 years of commercial project and product development experience, Craig is a highly effective leader who brings vision, decisiveness, structured analysis and energy to the companies and teams that he works with. Providing expertise in digital product leadership and commercial strategy in business intelligence, commodity and financial services arena with a strong record of successfully delivering innovative new products and growth.

He helps organisations determine what their customer want most, focus on their best ideas, using data to inform decisions and deliver those ideas that will make money, reduce costs and deliver real value.

Craig is also an investor, advisor and mentor to multiple start-ups in the digital strategy, media and events industries.

Emma Littlewood

Creator


Emma designed and lead the development of Compare Your Footprint. She has 10 years’ experience as a C++ applications developer, quantitative analyst and risk manager, and 10 years’ experience in the environmental sectors. 

Emma is a Greenhouse Gas (GHG) and carbon accounting specialist, as well as expert in energy-specific quantitative analysis methodology and modelling. She developed a prize-winning emissions calculator for agriculture in collaboration with Forum for the Future.

Jonathan Misfud

Jonathan is CEO of Maze Digital, our technology partners helping to develop Compare Your Footprint. He cares passionately about making this initiative a success and shares our ethos, vision and mission.

Sebastian Howarth

Business Development & Sales


A passion for fighting human rights violations saw Sebastian pursuing an undergraduate in Religious Studies but he realised so many of these violations had deep routes within the Climate Change discourses. A change of path and he was at the University of Edinburgh studying an environmental science Masters. Afterwards he worked in an urban thinktank in Nepal with aims to disrupt the waste system. A desire to make impactful change found him at Compare Your Footprint where he hopes to fulfil his dream of making the world a slightly cleaner and fairer place for all life.

Michael Brown

Team Support & Administration


Michael has a background in administration and consulting. He is a fan of accuracy, detail and sorting data with a Bachelor in History from Aberdeen University and a Masters in Social Research from Edinburgh University. He aims to help boost the team’s work with clients by making sure our internal systems stay efficient and loves great customer service.

Alicia Thew

Environmental Management Consultant & Analyst


Alicia Thew, environmental management consultant & analyst, has an in-depth scientific background focused on biodiversity and environmental conservation.

Alicia has conducted independent research in collaboration with Zoological Society of London, exploring the impacts of climate change on vertebrate groups in the tropics. Alicia has also worked as a scientist for the Environment Agency, in their water monitoring laboratories. Alicia has experience in digital marketing and analytics, from her time at an award-winning marketing agency.

Karli Hiscock

Advisory Board Member


Karli is a Partner in the Real Estate department of BWB specialising in commercial property transactions. Her work includes acquisitions and disposals of investment and commercial premises, office, retail and mixed use developments, lettings (acting for landlord and tenant), corporate acquisitions and disposals involving property aspects as well as acting in the acquisition and disposal of agricultural land and greenbelt land. She has advised charities on numerous commercial property transactions and also have experience of secured lending; acting for borrowers and lenders.

Barney Clarke

Advisory Board Member


Barney is highly experienced in the fields of property management, facilities, land and development.  He is an expert in financial appraisal, management, planning, process and strategy with a strong track record in the implementation of large scale core environmental requirements and a passion to work in a way that delivers for the environment, communities, staff as well as the companies they work in.  His approach is characterised by honesty and professionalism.  For nearly a decade he has been Group Head of Facilities for Omnicom Media Group UK in Central London. Prior to this he led a National land & development team focused on residential housing.  He is in the process of setting up a foundation for youth sports in North Devon and is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (ACIEH) and an Affiliate Member of IOSH.

Giles Barford

Advisory Board Member


Giles is a Cybersecurity professional, he has worked with a range of different organizations including media, finance, public services, and technology companies.  Currently, Giles works as a Senior Engineer in the Cybersecurity team of a global financial services organization which operates regulated markets in Europe, Asia, and North America.

 Giles’ qualifications include Certified Information Systems Security Professional, Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) Certified Incident Handler, and GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst.   He is also a member of the GIAC advisory board.
